Letslaw, a firm specializing in business law and new technologies, has opened a new office in Barcelona as part of its growth strategy in Spain. The new office will be headed by Raisa Venermo, a lawyer admitted to the Spanish Bar and holder of an LL.M. Master of Laws, who joins as managing partner and will also lead the Nordic Desk of the LETS Group.
With this opening, Letslaw establishes a permanent structure to serve its clients in Catalonia, support the entry of foreign companies and investors into Spain, and assist local companies in their internationalization processes.
The office will have a special focus on enterprise implementation, investment, and technology businesses. From Barcelona, the firm will also strengthen its activity in areas such as artificial intelligence, privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance, in response to the increasing regulatory demands that companies face.

Raisa Venermo has over two decades of experience in international legal advice, business implementation, and business development. Before joining Letslaw, she was Director of Business Operations at Talenom Spain, a publicly traded Finnish company specializing in financial and technology services.
Previously, he founded AvaLaw, later AvaLanding, a firm through which he advised more than 500 clients from over 70 countries on their investment, establishment, and business development processes in Spain. In 2021, the company was acquired by Talenom as part of its entry into the Spanish market.
Venermo began her professional career in Finland, France, and Mexico, and after settling in Barcelona, she worked for three years at Jausas, where she created and directed the Nordic Desk. She is currently secretary of the board of directors of the Spanish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce.
From Letslaw, he will also assume the management of the Nordic Desk of the LETS Group, with the aim of strengthening relations with companies and investors from the Nordic countries and facilitating the development of business projects between these markets and Spain.

The firm plans to gradually add new professionals and specialties to build its own multidisciplinary team in Barcelona. The office will work in close coordination with specialists in Madrid and with the LETS Group’s international network, which has a presence in more than 40 countries.
