Líder Legal is the first Ibero-American legal journal, created to keep General Counsel, CEOs, partners, associates and all professionals in the legal sector informed, from law firms and companies to multinationals and multilatinas, about everything that impacts their practice, strategy or business.
We cover the most relevant developments in the legal ecosystem: major transactions, legislative changes, court rulings, initiatives, and new additions to law firms. We also cover legaltech, AI, legal operations, the perspective of in-house departments, legal marketing, firm management, emerging trends, awards, events, and the most important international news.
Líder Legal is a strategic tool for market knowledge, reputation and visibility that offers national and international projection for both in-house lawyers and law firms.
Our focus covers 25 jurisdictions, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, the United States (including Miami), Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
As the leading Ibero-American legal publication, we offer unique visibility at a regional and cross-border level, based on a rigorous, curated and specialized editorial model, where only verified, relevant and high-impact information for the sector is published.
Heidi Maldonado
Director for Spain and Latin America
Heidi comes from a background in serious journalism, the kind you learn by asking questions, listening, and writing with precision. She studied Social Communication at the Central University of Venezuela, earned a master’s degree in Corporate Journalism, completed a diploma in Style Editing, and, above all, gained years of real-world experience in legal media. That’s why platforms like LexLatin welcomed her. And that’s also why she was twice invited to serve as a judge for the Legal Marcom Awards, which only invites those with genuine expertise in legal marketing, communication, and business development.
In April 2020, he took the reins of Líder Legal with a very simple idea: to create a useful publication. No frills. An Ibero-American legal journal that would help firms and corporate lawyers understand the market, make better decisions, and gain a competitive edge.
Five years later, the result speaks for itself: Líder Legal and its Firm Profiles directory have become essential reference tools for those seeking reputation, visibility, and expertise in the legal sector, both within and outside their country.
