Consortium Legal announced the appointment of Fabiola Sáenz Quesada and Roy Ramos Morales as practice partners in Costa Rica. This promotion follows the firm's career development plan, increasing the number of local partners to 22 and the number of partners in the Central American region to 63.
Fabiola has over 15 years of experience providing legal counsel in Intellectual Property. Specializing in sectors such as finance, cosmetics, healthcare, and food and beverage, she is distinguished by her expertise in managing trademark and patent portfolios. She served as treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Bar Association. Currently, she is treasurer of the APPICR Board of Directors, an active member of ASIPI and INTA, and coordinates the Intellectual Property Committee at the Bar Association. Fabiola not only excels professionally but is also passionate about social impact issues, to which she has dedicated her talent and effort. For four years, she coordinated the firm's Environmental Committee and participates in the Diversity and Gender Committee.
Roy, for his part, has over 24 years of experience in specialized legal counsel in Public Law, administrative litigation, public procurement, and administrative sanctioning procedures, in sectors such as telecommunications, energy, and aviation law. His career includes key roles as advisor to the National Concessions Council, legal counsel to the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, auditing attorney for the Comptroller General of the Republic, and external consultant to the Civil Aviation Technical Council. His achievements include representing clients in insurance disputes, administrative litigation related to tariffs and contract enforcement, as well as advising on public-private partnership projects, public infrastructure construction, trusts, and debt refinancing in public works concessions. He has also distinguished himself as an advisor on private power generation projects, comprehensive healthcare services, the cooperative sector, and other areas.
