Linklaters strengthened its team in Lisbon with the addition of Gonçalo Andrade e Sousa, who assumes leadership of the Public and Regulatory Law area.
With solid experience in these matters, Gonçalo Andrade e Sousa will contribute to the development of the area in Portugal and to supporting clients in complex matters, in a context marked by growing regulatory challenges and the transformation of the public and private sectors.
Throughout his career, Gonçalo Andrade e Sousa has provided regulatory and transactional advice on private and public-private projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His experience also encompasses M&A transactions, financing, and project development with highly regulated assets, particularly in the areas of energy, infrastructure, water and waste, telecommunications, the environment, and data centers.
