TozziniFreire, one of Latin America’s leading law firms, has continued its expansion strategy with the appointment of Flávia Leardini as a new partner in its Corporate Criminal Law practice. This is the firm’s third partner hire in 2026 and further reinforces its presence in strategic areas such as anti-money laundering, financial and tax crimes, and corporate compliance, fields expected to gain increasing relevance throughout the year.

About Flávia Leardini
Flávia Leardini advises Brazilian and international clients on advisory and contentious matters involving white-collar and corporate criminal law. Her practice encompasses highly complex cases, with particular emphasis on tax crimes, corruption, capital markets offences, and money laundering.
She has international experience gained during an internship in Washington, D.C., at a firm specialising in transnational criminal litigation and corporate investigations. During this period, she was involved in the defence of Brazilian and foreign individuals and legal entities before the U.S. Department of Justice.
Flávia holds a law degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a postgraduate degree in Economic and European Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra (Portugal), a postgraduate degree in Criminal Law from the Escola Superior do Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo, and a specialist qualification in tax fraud and money laundering from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).
She is recognised by leading international legal directories, including Chambers Brazil and The Legal 500, and is also listed in the national guide Análise Advocacia Mulher.
