Ramón y Cajal Abogados has incorporated Antonio Alcolea Cantos as the new partner responsible for the area of Administrative Law and Regulated Sectors.
A former State Attorney, Alcolea is a renowned specialist in administrative law and litigation against the public sector, with extensive experience advising and representing companies in various sectors before the courts and in arbitration proceedings. His career includes advising companies on construction, infrastructure, and public-private partnership (PPP) projects, as well as a strong practice in public procurement, concessions, sectoral regulation, and dispute resolution.
Throughout his professional career, Alcolea has been a partner in top-level national and international firms and has held positions of maximum responsibility within the State Attorney’s Office.
Recognized by directories such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, Antonio also has a solid academic background, as a professor at the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), the Center for Legal Studies of the Ministry of Justice (CEJ), ICADE, the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Carlos III University, among other institutions, and is the author of numerous publications on Administrative Law and Public Procurement.
