Olaechea Law Firm announced the appointment of July Choy, Valery Vicente and Stefano Osterling as directors in the Aviation Regulation, Corporate and Financial, and Commercial Litigation practices, respectively. All three lawyers previously served as senior associates at the firm.
Choy graduated in law from the University of Lima and holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of San Martín de Porres. She has also completed specialised courses in Aeronautical Law at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and in Airport Transport Regulation at ESAN. She has served as a senior associate since 2017.
She specialises in Aviation and Administrative Law. With more than 20 years of experience, she has advised airlines and specialised airport service providers on regulatory, contractual and compliance matters.
Vicente is a lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northwestern University and a Business Certificate from the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago. She has been a senior associate since 2017.
With more than 20 years of experience, she has advised national and international companies on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, finance and project finance transactions. She has worked at law firms in Lima and New York and has also served as in-house counsel at a company in the energy sector.
Osterling graduated in law from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) and holds a master’s degree in Economic Administrative Law from the Universidad del Pacífico. He has served as a senior associate since 2017.
With more than 15 years of experience, he focuses on representing clients in judicial and arbitration proceedings. He has participated in the defence of numerous complex disputes in civil, constitutional and administrative matters, particularly in the telecommunications, oil and gas, mining and electricity sectors.
According to the firm, these promotions recognise the directors’ extensive experience in their respective practice areas, as well as the commitment and professional performance they have demonstrated throughout their careers at the firm.
