By Heidi Maldonado

Miranda & Amado announced the appointment of Daniel Corzo and Luis Francisco Paz as new partners, strengthening its real estate, civil law, and estate planning practices. These promotions reflect the firm’s strategy of continuing to consolidate practices relevant to its clients and expanding its reach in an increasingly sophisticated and dynamic legal market.

“Daniel and Luis Francisco have built solid careers within the firm and have consistently contributed to the development of its practices. Their promotion to partner strengthens strategic areas for the firm and reinforces our ability to support our clients in increasingly complex projects and transactions,” said Luis Miranda and Mauricio Raffo, managing partners.

Daniel Corzo focuses his practice on comprehensive legal advice in real estate, civil, and registry matters, both in urban and rural areas. He has extensive experience in project structuring and contract negotiation related to acquisitions, financing, and the structuring of guarantees for real estate, agricultural, agro-industrial, retail, mining, and energy projects.

Luis Francisco Paz focuses his practice on civil law and estate planning. His experience includes civil law matters related to transactions and dispute resolution, as well as the design of asset protection and management structures, including estate planning trusts, family protocols, and complex succession planning structures.

“We are very pleased to welcome Daniel and Luis Francisco to the partnership. We are confident that, in their new roles as partners, they will continue to contribute to the growth and positioning of Miranda & Amado as an undisputed market leader in all relevant areas of corporate law,” the managing partners added.

These promotions reflect the firm’s sustained growth and its focus on strengthening its specialization in matters that are increasingly relevant to clients, including project structuring, investment development, dispute resolution, and the management of family and corporate wealth.

With these promotions, Miranda & Amado continues to solidify its position as one of the leading legal firms in the region. It currently has 33 partners and more than 130 lawyers, offering comprehensive and multidisciplinary legal counsel to national and international companies, financial institutions, and key players in the public and private sectors.
