Ignacio Sáenz de Santamaría, a partner at Andersen Iberia, has been appointed Director of Real Estate for Europe, a position he will hold alongside Kevin Hindley of Andersen UK. They succeed Philip Zschaler of Andersen in Germany, who led the area for seven years. The appointment took place during the 7th Annual Meeting of the EU Real Estate Industry Group, held in Istanbul, where 45 Andersen real estate professionals from 13 countries discussed the main trends and challenges facing the real estate sector.
On the occasion of his appointment, José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen Iberia, stated that “his appointment is a reflection of his level of excellence,” and added that “his extensive experience in complex real estate transactions allows him to share knowledge that enriches the rest of the professionals in the organization.”
For his part, Ignacio Sáenz de Santamaría stated that “I assume this responsibility with great enthusiasm and with the commitment to continue promoting collaboration between Andersen’s Real Estate teams in Europe, contributing an integrated and customer-oriented vision in a sector as strategic and dynamic as real estate.”
