Hogan Lovells has appointed Eduardo Pérez as a new partner in the Corporate M&A practice at its Madrid office, effective January 1, 2026. This move is part of the firm’s strategy to support organic growth with talented professionals.
Eduardo joined the firm in 2014 and, since then, has built a distinguished track record in complex corporate transactions, both nationally and internationally.
Specializing in M&A transactions, restructurings, and commercial contracting, Eduardo regularly advises international companies on their projects in Spain, as well as Spanish companies on their investments abroad. He has participated in significant transactions such as the acquisition of Gestamp’s biomass business by Tikehau, Advent International’s entry into Oleoducto Central S.A. in Colombia, Héroux-Devtek, Inc.’s purchase of the Spanish company CESA from the Airbus group, and Cintra’s sale of 85% of Autopista del Sol (Ausol) to Meridiam.
This appointment is part of the firm’s global promotion of 28 new partners and 53 counsels at Hogan Lovells. In addition to Eduardo Pérez, Igor Montejo has been promoted to new counsel in the Tax practice at the Madrid office, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to growth and excellence in its strategic areas.
