The Chilean law firm az announced the addition of Cristián Oppliger, as of counsel, to strengthen its practice in technology, artificial intelligence, fintech, personal data protection, cybersecurity, financial innovation, regulation and compliance.
“I am motivated to join az by its market recognition and the opportunity to contribute my experience in fintech, financial innovation, data, and compliance. I hope to support clients in regulatory and technological projects, with a primarily practical approach, working alongside the team currently leading these areas at az,” said Cristián Oppliger.
Az emphasizes that his addition will allow the firm to deepen its perspective on the challenges of technological transformation, combining specialized legal knowledge with direct experience in technology companies.
“Cristián’s addition allows us to continue expanding our capabilities in areas that are increasingly relevant to our clients. His in-house experience, his knowledge of industries such as fintech and technology, and his work related to artificial intelligence provide us with a very practical perspective on these challenges. His contribution perfectly complements the capabilities we have been developing over the past year,” commented Rodrigo Albagli, partner at az.
