Toda & Nel-lo has appointed Remedios García as a new partner in the Tax Law practice at its Madrid office. With over 25 years of professional experience and a distinguished track record in tax law, García joins from Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, where she spent most of her career, serving as counsel and professional partner in the Tax practice.
This addition represents a further boost to Toda & Nel-lo’s growth plan and, in particular, to its commitment to Madrid as a strategic location for the firm. With this appointment, the firm also strengthens one of its core areas of expertise with a profile boasting extensive national and international experience, especially in transactional matters, but also in ongoing advice and tax proceedings.

García has extensive experience in tax advisory services for domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, financing, and restructurings, as well as in conducting and coordinating due diligence processes. He has worked particularly on transactions related to the real estate and energy sectors, among others, and has experience in the tax structuring of project and asset finance transactions.
Throughout his career, he has also advised companies, family groups, and individuals on highly complex tax matters, both domestically and internationally, including non-resident taxation. He also has experience in tax audits and proceedings before the Spanish Tax Agency, administrative appeals, and tax litigation.
