Iron announced the promotion of Guillermo Jover to partner of the firm in Paraguay, effective January 1, 2026. This appointment marks a new stage in his career within the firm, where he was a partner until 2016 and rejoined in 2021 as an advisor.
With this appointment, Ferrere strengthens key areas of its practice in the country, including corporate and financial law, investment projects, real estate, environmental, and compliance law.

Guillermo has over 15 years of experience advising financial institutions, multinational companies, and multilateral organizations on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and asset acquisitions, both in Paraguay and the United States. His practice focuses on structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements, investment projects, and regulatory compliance, with a special emphasis on environmental law and sustainable financing. He also leads the firm’s real estate practice in Paraguay, advising on large-scale infrastructure projects and urban developments.
He holds a law degree from the American University of Paraguay and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Virginia, United States, and previously served as an associate in the Miami office of White & Case LLP.
