EY grows 4.7% globally with a turnover of $57 billion in fiscal year 2026

By Heidi Maldonado

EY has closed fiscal year 2026 (FY26), which ended on June 30, with global revenue reaching $57 billion, representing a 4.7% increase over the previous year.

All of EY’s service lines and geographic areas recorded revenue growth in FY26, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.3% over the past five years. This occurred against a backdrop of ongoing enterprise-wide transformations, rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, and an environment of geopolitical uncertainty.

EY-Parthenon, the strategy and transactions division, saw the strongest growth, at 7.4%, reaching $6.8 billion. Meanwhile, Tax revenue increased by 6% to $13.8 billion; Consulting revenue by 4.4% to $17.4 billion; and Assurance revenue by 3% to $18.9 billion.

The company has also published the EY Value Realized 2026 report, the annual report that summarizes the organization’s financial and non-financial performance in relation to its clients, EY professionals, and society in general.

Janet Truncale, EY’s global chairman and CEO, noted that “clients are moving from experimenting with AI to redesigning how they operate their businesses. The growth in demand for AI-related services reflects this evolution, as organizations increasingly prioritize approaches that combine technology with deep industry knowledge, trusted relationships, and human judgment. The results of this exercise demonstrate the power of bringing together EY teams and our strategic partners to accelerate value creation and turn disruption into sustained growth.”

Artificial intelligence: 49% growth in revenue from these services

During FY26, sales of AI-related services grew by 49%. This growth is a result of organizations’ progress in experimenting with AI projects toward enterprise-scale transformation.

Through EY.ai, The Reimagination Engine, EY combines artificial intelligence, technology, and data with the expertise of its professionals across service lines and sectors, as well as its ecosystem of partnerships, to help clients integrate AI into their businesses quickly, responsibly, and at scale. This includes ongoing investments in AI-ready data, AI governance frameworks and solutions, agentic and physical AI, and emerging technologies, including quantum computing.

At the close of FY26, 203,000 EY professionals had Microsoft Copilot licenses, a figure that has since increased to 381,000 today, as these capabilities have been deployed across the organization, highlighting the speed and scale of EY’s adoption as a “Client Zero”.

Agentic AI is also expanding into internal workflows and client services. Responsible AI remains a key pillar of this transformation, and EY’s Responsible AI framework guides how this technology is acquired and deployed.

Alliance ecosystem to accelerate transformation

In FY26, EY strengthened its alliance ecosystem, which currently has 119 active relationships.

EY has co-developed AI-enabled platforms, solutions, and service delivery models, established new partnerships, and gained access to cutting-edge AI models through Copilot. EY’s partnerships span areas such as physical AI, agentic AI, AI-ready data, and business transformation. In FY26, EY was recognized as NVIDIA’s Global System Integrator Tech Innovation Partner of the Year.

Building on its long-standing collaboration with Microsoft, EY announced that both organizations are investing $1 billion in a new initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of AI in businesses.

Over the past decade, revenue from EY partnerships has seen a compound annual growth rate of 34%, reflecting the increasingly important role of collaborative ecosystems in helping clients transform faster and at scale.

Talent: New capabilities for an AI-driven future

As AI transforms professional services, EY continues to equip its professionals with the skills needed to work with emerging technologies. During FY26, EY invested $448 million in training and development, including new learning programs focused on AI and other emerging technologies, leadership, and other future-oriented competencies.

In the last fiscal year, EY professionals completed 5.2 million hours of formal AI-related training and earned more than 40,000 AI training accreditations through EY Badges, with another 104,000 currently in progress. EY boasts the fastest-growing pool of AI-skilled professionals among Coursera and Udemy’s combined enterprise customers globally.

Across all training and development areas, EY professionals completed 26.6 million hours of formal training, compared to 24.6 million hours in FY25.

Global Deployment of Agentic IA

In response to evolving client needs, EY is combining technology, industry knowledge, and advanced AI capabilities to modernize its service delivery and scale the solutions required in today’s environment.

Within its Assurance service line, EY continued its multi-year transformation of audit services in FY26, including the global rollout of enterprise-scale agentic AI. These industry-first capabilities are part of a multi-billion-dollar investment in audit quality, technology, and professionals.

Currently, 130,000 EY Assurance professionals have AI-enabled capabilities and are applying new technological tools and a higher level of knowledge and analysis to help drive audit quality on a global scale.

Sustainability and social impact: more than 300 million beneficiaries since the launch of EY Ripples

Through EY Ripples, the organization’s global social impact program, EY has positively impacted the lives of more than 300 million people since its launch in 2018, of which approximately 56.6 million correspond to FY26.

The AI for Good program has reached more than 25 million people worldwide since 2023, through initiatives focused on areas including AI skills, education, entrepreneurship, and environmental challenges.

EY also continued its long-standing support for entrepreneurship. For 40 years, EY has recognized and fostered entrepreneurship, connecting founders, CEOs, and business leaders from across generations to help them develop, adapt, and grow their companies. The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ program, established in 1986, is currently active in 94 countries and regions and boasts a global community of more than 45,000 entrepreneurs and business leaders.

EY also continued to reduce its own environmental impact. Since FY19, total market-based greenhouse gas emissions have decreased by 40%, while emissions intensity per dollar of revenue has fallen by 62% and emissions per person by 58%. EY has matched 100% of its electricity consumption with renewable energy sources.
