Ejaso takes a strategic step in its growth plan with the integration of the Barcelona team of DS Avocats in Spain, made up of 18 professionals with extensive experience in the national and international field, significantly reinforcing its capabilities in commercial advice, to entities of the regulated market, tax, fiscal, procedural, wealth planning and succession.
The operation also involves the incorporation as partners of Verónica Ramírez Luesma, Mª José Duplá Marín, Erika Rubio Valera and Pilar Martín Rodríguez, four reference profiles who will lead the development of these areas from the Barcelona office contributing their extensive experience in the international market.
With this integration, Ejaso consolidates its commitment to organic and inorganic growth and strengthens its presence in a key location like Barcelona, incorporating highly specialized talent with a solid track record in the national and international market.
This addition also strengthens and complements the services Ejaso already provides in Barcelona in areas such as labor and competition law, led by partner Isabel Sobrepera, as well as in the family business department, headed by partner Sergio Parra Sabal, and in the retail criminal law area, under the direction of partner Ariadna Revenga. With this, the Barcelona office now has nearly 50 professionals, consolidating a comprehensive and highly specialized service offering.

Her experience ranges from supporting startups in investment rounds to advising private equity funds on investment and divestment processes, M&A transactions, and regulated venture capital entities.
María José Duplá Marín has over two decades of experience in tax and fiscal advisory services for companies and individuals, with a strong specialization in tax procedures and representation before the tax authorities and courts. Her profile combines extensive professional practice with a long academic career at institutions such as Pompeu Fabra University and Esade.
Erika Rubio Valera brings extensive experience in international taxation, international estate and succession planning, double taxation, corporate restructurings, and tax audits. Having worked at firms such as Rousaud Costas Duran and KPMG Abogados, and as a founding partner of Laways Legal and Tax, she has established herself as an expert in advising on complex transactions in international environments.
Pilar Martín Rodríguez leads the Litigation and Compliance Department and has experience advising individuals and companies in various sectors on civil proceedings—claims for payment, contract terminations, damages, and civil liability—and on criminal proceedings related to business matters. She also has extensive experience in the implementation and development of criminal compliance plans for companies.
