Ejaso continues to drive its growth and consolidation strategy in the market with the appointment of four new partners from internal promotion: Cristina Abilleira (Madrid), Carlos Cabado, David Rodríguez (A Coruña) and Enrique Llopis (Madrid)
With these additions to the partnership, the firm reinforces its commitment to internal talent and consolidates strategic areas in a context of increasing legal and business complexity.
Cristina Abilleira, based in the Madrid office, specializes in commercial and contract law, with a particular focus on sectors such as fashion, luxury, and retail, as well as international environments. She primarily advises foreign clients with interests in Spain, supporting them in their operations and development within the Spanish market. She also actively participates in Ejaso’s international development, representing the firm in networks such as Avrio Advocati and the International Bar Association (IBA).
Carlos Cabado, from the A Coruña office, is part of the commercial law department, specifically the area of restructuring, insolvency, and special situations, including complex litigation. He recently joined the team driving Ejaso’s new business line in “Special Situations and M&A Distress in Venture Capital,” aimed at offering comprehensive solutions to companies backed by funds and family offices in complex scenarios.
Also based in A Coruña, David Rodríguez assumes responsibility for the Public and Urban Planning area. His practice encompasses public law, real estate, urban planning, energy, and environmental matters, with extensive experience in administrative litigation, public procurement, and advising on the development of renewable energy projects.
Furthermore, the firm is significantly strengthening its insolvency practice with the addition of Enrique Llopis as a partner. Mr. Llopis is an insolvency lawyer with over 20 years of experience in various jurisdictions. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions in national and international firms, advising both debtors and creditors in insolvency and restructuring situations. He combines his private practice with his work as an Insolvency Administrator in Commercial Courts across Spain since 2004, providing him with valuable practical and strategic insight.
