Jose Goyburu has over 20 years of professional experience and a distinguished track record in the banking and financial sector. Before joining the firm, he worked at a renowned Peruvian law firm as co-head of the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets departments, was legal manager at a Peruvian fiduciary business company, and senior legal advisor at one of Peru’s leading banks.
A graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, he holds a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law, specializing in Banking Regulation, from the same university, and a diploma in Business Management for Lawyers from the University of the Pacific. His work on complex transactions and his track record in the market have been recognized by prestigious directories, such as Chambers & Partners, in the areas of Banking & Finance (Band 3) and Capital Markets (Band 4), IFLR 1000, and Legal 500.
