CMS Portugal has strengthened its equity partnership with the appointment of João Leitão Figueiredo, from the TMC practice area – Technology, Media and Communications, Intellectual Property, and Health and Life Sciences – and Nuno Alves Mansilha, from the Lusophone Africa practice.

João Leitão Figueiredo, a partner in the TMC (Technology, Media and Communications, Intellectual Property and Health and Life Sciences) practice, has spent his entire career at CMS Portugal. His work focuses primarily on intellectual and industrial property, copyright and technology law. He provides ongoing legal advice on TMT and IP matters, particularly in relation to the protection of intangible assets, innovation, technology and digital business models.
Nuno Alves Mansilha, a partner in the Lusophone Africa practice, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, foreign investment, the structuring of joint ventures, privatisations, concessions, restructurings, infrastructure projects and commercial contracts.
