He is particularly recognised for his expertise in real estate, corporate and distribution matters, as well as in the law of obligations and contracts. He also sits as an arbitrator and regularly advises on highly complex domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
He has participated in some of the most significant restructuring and insolvency proceedings in the Spanish market, advising both debtors and creditors. His experience combines in-depth technical knowledge with a strategic approach to dispute resolution.
Gonzaga Guerrero, also a member of the Litigation and Arbitration practice, has more than 12 years’ experience in resolving complex civil and commercial disputes, both in court and through arbitration. His practice focuses on post-M&A and corporate disputes, collective actions — particularly in banking litigation and competition law damages claims — and contractual liability matters, including disputes relating to sale, agency, distribution and lease agreements.
He primarily advises large corporations, financial institutions, investment funds and family offices. He is known for his extensive courtroom experience and his strategic, business-oriented approach, as well as for acting as arbitrator before leading arbitral institutions.

He has a strong litigation track record, having successfully represented clients before the Courts of First Instance, the Provincial Courts, the Supreme Court, the General Court of the European Union and the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He regularly advises national and international companies in sectors including audiovisual, telecommunications, digital platforms, technology start-ups, media, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals.
