ClarkeModet strengthened its position in Mexico with the appointment of Martín Pereyra, an intellectual property attorney, as regional managing director of Martín Pereyra, and Alfredo Pineda as director of Trademarks and Legal Services. With these additions, Nieto & Castellá, a firm specializing in intellectual property, data, and privacy founded by both attorneys, joins ClarkeModet Mexico.
In the words of María Garaña, Global CEO of ClarkeModet, “Martín and Alfredo bring a combination of invaluable experience to ClarkeModet and our clients: they have developed their careers at leading firms in the sector and, at the same time, have had the vision and entrepreneurial drive to create and develop their own firm. Their addition strengthens our team in Mexico and expands our capabilities in intellectual property, data, privacy, and new technologies—areas that are essential today to support our clients in an economy where a growing portion of companies’ value resides in their intangible and digital assets.”
Martín Pereyra, regional managing director of ClarkeModet Mexico, emphasized that “Mexico has a tremendous opportunity to consolidate itself as one of the major innovation hubs in Latin America. Joining ClarkeModet allows us to combine our experience and close relationships with clients with the capabilities, specialization, and international reach of a leading group. My goal is to accelerate ClarkeModet’s growth in Mexico and become the go-to partner for companies that want to protect their innovation, leverage the potential of their intangible assets, and transform them into business value.”
