Emilio is a lawyer and holds a doctorate in law, specializing in administrative law, public policy, and the regulation of strategic sectors. His career includes a prominent role on the Ministerial Advisory Commission for the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law, where he contributed to the analysis and development of the regulatory framework in this area.

Emilio Oñate also holds a Doctorate in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid; a Master’s degree in Management and Public Policy from Adolfo Ibáñez University; and a Master’s degree in Administrative Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso. In addition, he has a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Law and Politics from the University of Lleida, Spain.
