Ceca Magán Abogados has announced the appointment of Carlos Gutiérrez as a partner in its Litigation and Arbitration practice at the firm’s Madrid office.

Career and professional background
A law graduate from the University of Alcalá (CEU Luis Vives), Carlos has more than 25 years of experience advising multinational companies in sectors such as real estate, services, industry and energy. Throughout his career, he has been involved in highly complex and economically significant proceedings, leading procedural strategies before the ordinary courts and in commercial arbitration. He has also served as global head of contentious and litigation affairs at Siemens Gamesa.
A specialist in civil and commercial litigation, corporate and contractual disputes, directors’ liability and corporate claims, he is also recognised for his experience in alternative dispute resolution. As an arbitrator and mediator, he offers a comprehensive perspective on the prevention and strategic management of disputes, prioritising efficient solutions aligned with his clients’ business objectives.
His profile combines extensive professional practice with notable academic activity. He is a lecturer in the Advanced Specialisation Course (CAE) in Civil and Commercial Litigation at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid, and teaches on the Master’s programme in Business Law, Arbitration and ADR at ISDE, contributing to the training of new generations of legal professionals in the fields of litigation and arbitration.
