Fernando has over 20 years of experience, providing highly specialized expertise in financial and debt regulation. He is a leading lawyer advising credit institutions, investment firms, insurers, asset managers, payment institutions, electronic money institutions, and cryptocurrency service providers on highly complex matters, such as structural modifications, authorizations, fund formation (UCITS, AIFM, and securitization), and international expansion processes using European passports.
She combines her regulatory expertise with advising on complex financings. Throughout her career, she has advised both lenders and borrowers on real estate, project, corporate, asset, and LBO transactions, as well as refinancings and debt issuances, including guarantee structures in international contexts.
In addition to his professional activity, he has served as secretary of the board in numerous companies, including listed companies and supervised entities, and has been a board member of public and private companies.
Fernando combines his legal practice with teaching. He has been a professor of Commercial Law at Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE) and at Carlos III University of Madrid, in addition to collaborating with various academic institutions.
