Cases & Lacambra has appointed Ernesto Benito Sancho as a new partner in the Litigation and Arbitration practice in Madrid. His arrival strengthens one of the firm’s strategic areas and expands its capacity to handle complex litigation and high-value arbitration proceedings.
The new partner joins accompanied by Mario Gil and Enrique López, both lawyers with extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, who will integrate into the Madrid Litigation and Arbitration team, reinforcing its structure and capability to manage complex proceedings.

A former State Attorney on leave of absence, Ernesto Benito has more than 25 years’ professional experience in litigation and arbitration. Throughout his career, he has served as partner and head of Procedural and Arbitration departments at leading law firms, acting on matters of particular complexity in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.
He has also acted as arbitrator in numerous proceedings before leading national and international arbitral institutions, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, energy and telecommunications, and in disputes arising from M&A transactions and public procurement.
Alongside his professional practice, he has maintained a strong academic profile, combining legal practice with extensive teaching and ongoing scholarly activity. His career has been consistently recognised by the main international legal directories.
