Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos, Chilean law firm announced the appointment of attorney Sebastian Krebs as director of the Labor department, as part of the recognition, leadership, and projection of professionals within the firm.
This designation is in addition to that of José Ignacio Azar as the studio’s first director, making Sebastián Krebs the second professional to take on this role, reflecting the consolidation of this position and Cariola’s commitment to the continuous development of its internal talent.

Krebs will lead the Labor Litigation practice area as director. A graduate of the Catholic University of Chile, with a master’s degree in law from University College London and a master’s degree in labor law and social security from Adolfo Ibáñez University, he joined the firm in 2018. He has contributed to specialized publications on labor law and has also completed various diploma and specialization courses in the area.
Sebastián Krebs has extensive experience in complex litigation, including anti-union practices, fundamental rights, and workplace accidents. He also advises companies on contractual matters, union issues, collective bargaining, and the validation of internal regulations.
“Labor law is constantly changing and demands innovative approaches. I want to continue strengthening the work of the labor team, promoting a modern, strategic practice that is close to the real needs of our clients,” Krebs stated.
