The Brazilian law firm BMA Advogados has strengthened its presence in litigation, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo by promoting four lawyers to the partnership.

Luis Marcelo Abdalla Jaued is a lawyer with extensive experience in Infrastructure, Regulatory and Governmental Affairs, as well as Oil and Gas. He provides strategic advice to Brazilian and international clients from various sectors on issues related to regulated markets and relations with the public sector. His work integrates in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian regulatory environment and legal disputes involving public authorities and entities with a technical-strategic approach that contributes to the development of complex projects and the management of administrative and legal challenges in sectors regulated and controlled by the State.
Maria Donati works in the area of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions, playing a key role in complex corporate operations and commercial transactions, advising Brazilian and international companies in various sectors. With a focus on strategic corporate law issues, she combines technical excellence with a business-oriented vision, supporting mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations, as well as the structuring of sophisticated transactions.
