Belda, Bordón & Merodio continues to advance its strategic growth with the opening of an office in Barcelona, the firm’s first outside of Madrid. To lead this new phase, the firm has added Ramón Carrillo de Albornoz as a partner, who will assume the management of the Barcelona office.
The new office, located at number 170 Aribau Street, will allow the firm to strengthen its presence in Catalonia and be closer to its clients in a strategic market for the development of its main practice areas. With this move, Belda, Bordón & Merodio expands its territorial footprint while maintaining its boutique law model specializing in business law and high-value-added advisory services, with a particular focus on Corporate/M&A, Real Estate, Tax, Finance, and Litigation.
Pedro Belda, founding partner of Belda, Bordón & Merodio, emphasized that “the opening of the Barcelona office is a natural step in the firm’s evolution and reflects our commitment to continued selective growth, maintaining our model focused on generating added value for clients and a high level of specialization, close client relationships, and direct partner involvement. The addition of Ramón allows us to undertake this project with a professional who has in-depth knowledge of the Catalan market and shares our unique approach to client service and legal advice, as well as the enthusiasm and ambition behind the project.”
For his part, Ramón Carrillo de Albornoz stated that “joining Belda, Bordón & Merodio as a partner and taking on the management of its new Barcelona office is a very exciting professional project. The firm has developed a distinctive boutique model, highly specialized and with a clear business focus. Our goal in Barcelona will be to build a solid team, grow steadily, and offer clients the level of commitment and expertise that characterizes the firm.”
