Marriage has brought Alex Massaguer on board as a new partner at Legal Marriage in the Barcelona office, with the aim of strengthening the firm’s tax department.
Auren’s president, Mario Alonso, highlighted that the addition of Alex Massaguer “is another step forward in our commitment to growth and excellence in the Barcelona office. His leadership and experience will contribute to continuing to offer close and valuable advice to our clients,“ while José Luis Galipienso, advisor and director of Auren’s Barcelona office, added that this signing ”is another step in the growth of our Barcelona office. His incorporation will contribute to further strengthening our presence in the Catalan business community.”

He has more than 17 years of professional experience in the field of taxation, having held positions of responsibility mainly in firms such as BAa, where he was a partner and head of the tax department until he joined Auren.
Massaguer has a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s degree in Tax and Fiscal Advice from the Centre for Financial Studies (CEF), and a Postgraduate degree in Customs Law.
In addition to his professional activity, Alex combines his professional work with teaching. Since 2022, he has been an associate professor at the University of Barcelona, teaching Business Taxation, and since 2017, he has been a professor at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) and the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
