Auren has strengthened its Legal division in Barcelona with the appointment of Carles Ramírez as a partner in the Economic and Financial area. The move enhances the firm’s ability to provide economic, financial, corporate and strategic advice to companies undergoing growth, transformation and restructuring processes.

Professional background
Ramírez holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, with specialisations in Finance and Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management (MGTI) from Ramon Llull University. He has also completed the Management Development Programme (PDD) at IESE Business School.
His professional career spans more than 30 years, primarily in technology-based companies, where he has held senior management positions. He has also advised family-owned businesses on generational succession, modernisation, and the definition and implementation of corporate strategy.
Over the past 15 years, he has specialised in financial and strategic advisory services for SMEs and family businesses at all stages of their life cycle, as a partner at InverTEAM and InverTIM. He will now bring this experience to Auren’s Legal division, integrating legal perspectives with economic and business insight.
