Antas da Cunha Écija has strengthened its team with the appointment of five lawyers: Sérgio Fagundes Conceição, Inês Dias de Pinho, João Vaz Teiga, Marta Albuquerque Coelho and Luís Correia da Silva.
Sérgio Fagundes Conceição and Inês Dias de Pinho join the firm’s Real Estate and Urban Planning practice.
Sérgio Fagundes Conceição joins as a senior associate from Cuatrecasas. He has extensive experience advising clients on the structuring of domestic and international investments and on the execution of real estate transactions, with a particular focus on residential, commercial and tourism projects. Since 2018, he has served as a visiting assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, specialising in Family and Succession Law.
Inês Dias de Pinho joins as an associate, having previously worked at RFF Advogados. She has been involved in numerous due diligence processes relating to corporate acquisitions and real estate investments, advising clients on the negotiation and formalisation of investment agreements. She also has experience reviewing contracts and analysing the tax implications of transactions. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon) and is currently undertaking a postgraduate programme in Corporate Governance at the Centre for Research in Private Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
João Vaz Teiga and Luís Correia da Silva join the Immigration and Nationality Law practice as associates. Their work focuses primarily on residence permit applications and related procedures before the Portuguese immigration authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Antas da Cunha Écija, João Vaz Teiga worked at LegalSquare and Ana Bruno & Associados.
Luís Correia da Silva joins from Dower Law Firm, where he coordinated the Criminal Law and Administrative Offences departments, as well as the Family and Succession Law practice. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, where he also completed short courses in Forensic Medicine and in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, and obtained a master’s degree in Criminal Law. In 2025, he completed a Criminal Compliance course at the Institute of Economic and European Criminal Law.
Marta Albuquerque Coelho completed internships at Bankinter and DLA Piper. Her practice focuses on intellectual property, advising on copyright and related rights, image rights and trade marks, including trade mark and domain name registration and maintenance, drafting contracts and licensing agreements, and handling intellectual property disputes. She also works with the Privacy and Cybersecurity team, advising on data protection and compliance matters. She holds a master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology Law, Social Media and Intellectual Property from ESADE Law School (Barcelona) and has also completed, among other programmes, the course “Theory and Practice of Personal Data Protection” at NOVA School of Law. She joins the firm as an associate.
