KLA announced the return of André Leme as partner leading the Compliance and Investigations practice, with the aim of consolidating and expanding the firm. A lawyer with experience at major law firms in São Paulo, André worked at KLA between 2018 and 2019.
According to Henrique Lopes, partner and member of the KLA Executive Committee, “André’s return, with greater experience and a broader vision of the practice, is doubly relevant, because it strengthens our offering of high value-added services while reaffirming the culture we have built in the firm.”
With over 15 years of experience in the field, the partner has accumulated expertise in conducting corporate investigations, risk management, and implementing integrity programs, as well as compliance due diligence in corporate transactions. He represents companies in administrative liability proceedings (PAR) and negotiates agreements with authorities in cases of violations of anti-corruption legislation.
A graduate of Law from USP, André Leme holds a specialization in Fundamental Rights from the University of Coimbra (Portugal), completed a course in Private International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law (The Hague, Netherlands), and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Compliance Program at Fordham University in São Paulo. He is also certified by the Compliance and Ethics Academy of the SCCE (Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics).
As a professor, he works at the Faculty of Law, Ethics and Compliance (LEC), where he teaches courses in Healthcare Compliance and Anti-Corruption Compliance. In 2025, he was awarded Professor of the Year for his Healthcare Compliance course.
