Andersen has added Augusto Martín as a partner as part of its strategy to strengthen the firm’s capabilities in areas of increasing relevance to companies related to innovation, technology and the protection of intangible assets.
With this move, the firm led by José Vicente Morote continues to deepen its hyper-specialization and consolidates its advice on issues that are now part of the strategic core of numerous corporate operations and business transformation projects.
In this regard, the managing partner of Andersen Iberia noted that “their addition reflects our objective of strengthening our team with highly specialized profiles in areas that have become strategic for companies. The protection of intangible assets, business knowledge management, technology, and artificial intelligence are now key factors in value creation and organizational competitiveness, and having leading specialists in these fields allows us to offer our clients increasingly sophisticated advice.”
For their part, Ivo Portabales and Federico Belausteguigoitia, partners and co-directors of the M&A department, stated that “intellectual and industrial property and digital law are present today in practically all the corporate transactions we advise on. The addition of Augusto Martín allows us to cover this dimension with a top-level specialist who complements our value proposition and strengthens our capacity to advise on increasingly complex transactions.”
