Andersen has appointed Rafael Vallet as a partner in its Commercial Law practice at its Barcelona office. The Iberian firm led by José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen, has strengthened its capabilities in Catalonia with this appointment, adding to the recent appointments of Xavier Miravalls, Ana Úbeda and their teams to that department.

With more than 25 years of experience, Rafael Vallet has solid expertise in advising foundations, associations, non-governmental organizations, and non-profit entities, primarily in private law. He also has proven experience and recognition in providing commercial advice to companies in the technology and digital sector.
He holds a law degree from the UNED and completed his training with, among others, a Master’s Degree in Tax Advice and Management from ESADE and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE. He combines his professional work with his work in certain institutions, such as the secretariat of the DKV Integralia Foundation, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, and his participation in Barcelona Health Hub, Insurtech Community Hub, and Digital Health Hub, among others.
