Afianza Legal has added Miguel Ángel Araque Salmerón as a Tax partner to strengthen and enhance the practice in the Madrid office.
Miguel Ángel Araque has over 25 years of extensive experience advising national and international companies on tax matters. Before joining Afianza Legal, he developed his professional career at IBM, Landwell – PwC, and Forvis Mazars, a firm he joined in 2004 and where he was a partner in the tax department from 2014.
A graduate in Law and Economics and Business Administration from the Pontifical University of Comillas, ICADE, he is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) where he has been part of the Corporate Tax Expert Group since 2018.
Miguel Ángel Araque specializes in Corporate Income Tax, international taxation and tax procedures and has extensive experience in tax consolidation, restructuring operations and due diligence.
His addition to Afianza Legal brings a strategic approach, a comprehensive vision, and solid tax and accounting knowledge, key to the analysis and design of business structures, which will significantly boost the development and consolidation of the firm’s tax practice.
