DLA Piper has promoted Ana Isabel Vieira to Partner at its Lisbon office.
Ana Isabel Vieira is part of the Corporate and M&A practice and has been with DLA Piper Portugal since 2014. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, in regulatory in the banking and insurance sectors and also in financing and restructuring matters. The focus of her work are complex domestic and cross-border transactions in financial services, insurance, energy, life sciences and technology sectors.

Additionally, and globally, DLA Piper has promoted 62 lawyers to partner. Corporate practice recorded the highest number of new partner promotions, with 21 appointments, followed by Litigation with 12 new partners, Finance, Projects and Restructuring with 8, and Intellectual Property and Technology with 7. Other practice groups include Real Estate with five promotions, Regulatory and Government Affairs with 4 new partners, and Employment, Investment Funds and Tax with two promotions each.
Regionally, the United States recorded the highest number of promotions, with 24 new partners, followed by Continental Europe with 14. Other regions include the United Kingdom with 9, Canada with 6 and Australia with 5.
