On its sixth anniversary, Novis Estudio Legal announced the launch of its regional Corporate Compliance practice, strengthening its support for companies, institutions, and investors in Central America and Panama. The practice will be led by Miguel Peñailillo López, along with a team of three professionals.
An environment that changed the rules
In an increasingly demanding and constantly evolving regional context, compliance has ceased to be a regulatory requirement and has become a competitive advantage and the most valuable reputational asset of the modern company. Ethical compliance is no longer optional: it is the passport to international expansion and the trust of partners, clients, and investors.
Tailor-made compliance ecosystems
- Novis designs compliance ecosystems tailored to the specific circumstances, size, and sector of each organization, aligned with international standards (ISO 37001 and 37301 and OECD guidelines). The practice supports clients in:
- Corporate integrity programs and fraud and corruption prevention
- Design and implementation of compliance systems
- 360 Risk Assessment and Management
- Independent corporate investigations
- Compliance Officer as a service
A solid area is built with equipment
The practice brings together four careers with the same conviction: to accompany clients with rigor, closeness and a deep respect for the Rule of Law.
