The Monterrey Legal Management Forum 2026 will take place this Thursday, 26 February 2026, at Tecnológico de Monterrey, bringing together legal directors, general counsel and experts in compliance, arbitration and corporate governance from some of the country’s and the region’s leading companies and institutions.
Organised by Gericó Associates, the forum will examine the strategic challenges currently facing corporate legal departments in Mexico, against a backdrop of nearshoring, digital transformation, ESG requirements, rising levels of litigation and companies’ international expansion.
The event is sponsored at Gold level by Akerman, Santamarina + Steta and Hogan Lovells; at Silver level by Ferran Martínez Abogados and BIGLE; and at Bronze level by Pérez-Llorca and Holland & Knight. It also has the institutional support of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s School of Social Sciences and Government, the Mexican Arbitration Center and Abogadas MX.
Throughout the day, five thematic panels and a high-level closing session will address issues central to the corporate legal function, including industrial relocation, the impact of artificial intelligence on legal operations, compliance and ESG, international arbitration, and governance in mergers and acquisitions.
Confirmed speakers include senior legal representatives and executives from companies such as FRISA, OLEUM, DXC Technology, Ericsson, Grupo AlEn, Organización Soriana, Covestro, SAP México, Citofrut, Logrand Entertainment Group, Sinohydro Corporation Limited (Peru Branch), Sacyr Colombia, Grupo Proeza, RAGASA, GAYAMX, H&M, HORTIFRUT, Midea Group and Cemex México. They will be joined by partners from international law firms and representatives of academic institutions, professional bodies and organisations linked to arbitration and corporate governance.
The programme also features a specialised panel on international arbitration, with the participation of experts affiliated with ICC Nuevo León, Santamarina + Steta, Hogan Lovells, Akerman and Sinohydro Corporation Limited (Peru Branch), among others.
The closing session will examine the future of the legal profession in Mexico and Latin America, bringing together leaders from the corporate sector and the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México (Illustrious and National Bar Association of Mexico).
