Lilian Arias, managing partner of Arias El Salvador, has become the first woman in Latin America recognized as an Eminent Practitioner in the Chambers and Partners 2026 Latin American Legal Guide. This recognition marks her eighteenth consecutive year in Chambers, including 14 years in Band 1 in the Corporate/Commercial practice, underscoring her leadership and influence in the regional legal market.
Throughout her career, Lilian has advised national and international companies on mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, financing, tax planning, corporate governance, regulatory matters, and restructurings. Her experience ranges from structuring loans and guarantees for international financial institutions to guiding multinationals in complex acquisition and expansion projects in Central America and Mexico. She has also advised boards of directors on corporate, financial, and tax matters from the 1990s to the present.
