Hernández & Cía announced the addition of Jorge Trelles as a partner, strengthening its capabilities in Corporate/M&A and financial transactions.
This is the second transactional partner from Rodrigo to join Hernández & Cía. in the last month, following Nydia Guevara , a partner specializing in Banking and Finance, Securities Markets, and Fintech. Trelles has spent nearly 25 years at Rodrigo advising on highly complex corporate and financial transactions.
“These moves stem from an analysis of the market and how our clients’ needs are evolving. We seek to anticipate and strengthen capabilities in those areas where we see the greatest investment activity and transactions. The arrival of Jorge, Nydia, and Carlos’s team reflects this vision and our objective of being a top choice for investors and companies seeking acquisitions, financing, and projects in sectors such as mining, energy, agribusiness, and infrastructure,” stated Juan Luis Hernández, managing partner of Hernández & Cía.
For his part, Jorge stated that he is “excited to join Hernández & Cía. at a time of growth for the firm and at a special moment for Peru, which offers significant opportunities for investment and new projects. I have known many of its partners and teams for years and have worked with them on various transactions. This prior knowledge and the complementarity of our experiences were important in my decision.”
“The addition of Jorge expands our capacity to respond to increased demand from companies, with a combination of legal knowledge, financial understanding, and business acumen. His experience brings precisely that combination,” added Juan Luis Hernández, managing partner of Hernández & Cía.
