Harvey, the operating system for legal and professional services, announced a partnership with Tirant lo Blanch, the leading legal publisher for the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets. The integration incorporates Tirant’s comprehensive legal database—which includes legislation, case law, administrative doctrine, and more than 24,000 legal forms—into Harvey as a native knowledge source.
The content covers Spain, Portugal, and 20 Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, offering a unified search environment for Latin American and Iberian law. Harvey clients can now access this content directly in the Harvey Assistant, Vault, Workflow Builder, Microsoft Word Add-in, and Harvey Agents, with full source attribution and real-time updates maintained by the Tirant editorial team.
“Lawyers and legal professionals operating in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America need authoritative local content where they already work,” said Jorge Bestard, VP of EMEA Sales at Harvey. “With Tirant’s content on Harvey, they can move from research to final product without leaving the platform they already use every day. And with Harvey’s agents, they can automate workflows based on those same trusted sources.”
“At Tirant, we have spent years building bridges between legal rigor and technological innovation. This partnership with Harvey represents an opportunity to expand access to legal knowledge in the Iberian and Latin American markets, providing professionals with more efficient, connected, and intelligent tools for their daily practice,” stated Salvador Vives, CEO of Tirant lo Blanch.
The partnership expands Harvey’s growing network of hundreds of global legal data sources, reinforcing its position as a unified platform where lawyers access, research, and cite legal knowledge from around the world. Tirant joins a growing list of integrated content providers, adding Iberian and Latin American depth alongside the in-house knowledge, precedent documents, and other third-party sources already available on Harvey.

The integration supports a variety of workflows, including:
- Cross-border transaction documentation: Create transactional documents, such as Word files, directly in Harvey, based on the specific legislation and jurisprudence of each Tirant jurisdiction for Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American or Ibero-American speaking markets.
- Contract Review: Review contracts in accordance with local legislation in Word, through Harvey for Word, using Tirant to verify key clauses, identify problems and prepare markings.
- Litigation and Dispute Support: search procedural rules, case law, and precedents through Tirant and then use those findings to draft litigation briefs, memoranda, case evaluations, or litigation opinions.
- Due diligence review: Use Harvey’s Agents to review large sets of documents in light of local legislation, identify legal risks or missing information, and summarize findings based on Tirant’s local sources.
- Regulatory and Compliance Research: Search legislation, regulations, and case law through Tirant to verify regulatory requirements and then transform the cited responses into draft memos, opinions, or updates for clients.
The partnership comes after the recent opening of Harvey’s office in Madrid and deepens the company’s commitment to the Iberian and Latin American legal markets.
