Garrigues has once again reported record results. In 2025, the firm achieved revenue of €527.69 million, an increase of €45.84 million (9.51%) on the previous year. The firm, the largest in the EU by revenue, has now recorded 12 consecutive years of growth.
Revenue in Spain, its main market, reached €437.15 million, up 4.28%. International revenue rose by 44.49% to €90.54 million. International operations — Garrigues has 32 offices in 12 countries across four continents — now account for 17.16% of total revenue. The firm’s principal markets outside Spain, Latin America and Portugal, both delivered double-digit growth during the year.
Fernando Vives, Executive Chairman of Garrigues, said that 2025 had been a positive year for the firm: “Thanks to the trust of our clients, the efforts of our team and the consolidation of our strategy, we have increased revenue beyond the pace of previous years. Our objective, however, is not growth at any cost, but sustainable and profitable growth, enabling us to continue delivering the highest standards of service, attracting and retaining top talent, and investing in strategic priorities such as digital transformation. We are confident of continuing on this path in 2026.”
All major practice areas recorded revenue growth. Corporate and M&A accounts for the largest share of the firm’s business (32.59%), followed by Tax (29.31%), Dispute Resolution — Litigation and Arbitration (12.60%), Labour (12.16%), and Administrative and Constitutional Law (7.78%).
Over the past five years, the firm has invested €75 million in technology and digitalisation. This investment has pursued three objectives: enhancing client service through personalised digital environments and new product offerings; embedding artificial intelligence as a competitive differentiator; and improving operational efficiency through automation and process optimisation.
Key milestones in 2025 included the integration of the Mexican firm Sánchez Devanny, the relocation of the firm’s headquarters to the Torres de Colón in Madrid, and the completion of its 2023–25 Sustainability Plan. The integration has strengthened the firm’s position in Mexico, now its second-largest market. The new headquarters consolidates its operations in a modernised workspace. The Sustainability Plan establishes a framework for further progress in environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
By 2025, g-digital, Garrigues’ digital business division, had consolidated its portfolio of solutions covering the digital trust cycle and the infrastructure required for legal certainty in digital environments. The division represents a strategic element in the firm’s diversification in an increasingly technology-driven market, combining technological development with legal expertise.
Meanwhile, G-advisory, the firm’s energy and sustainability consulting subsidiary, marked its 25th anniversary. Over that period, it has delivered projects in more than 40 countries across five continents for private companies, public authorities, industry associations and multilateral organisations.
