Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has announced the appointment of Daniel Reis as a partner in its Industrial, Intellectual Property and Technology practice at the firm’s Lisbon office.
Reis specialises in the telecommunications sector and has extensive experience advising on data protection, privacy and cybersecurity matters. He is recognised as one of Portugal’s leading TMT lawyers by Chambers & Partners -where he is ranked Band 1- and by Legal 500, which lists him as a Leading Individual.
He joins the Industrial, Intellectual Property and Technology team led by Sofía Martínez-Almeida, further strengthening the practice following the addition of Rais Amils last year. Reis will also lead the firm’s IP and technology practice in Portugal, an area identified as a key focus for Gómez-Acebo & Pombo’s strategic growth.
