Clifford Chance has advised Nido Living, a platform specializing in student residence management and flexible living in Europe, with a strategic plan to expand in Italy and Germany, on the financing of approximately €210 million of its PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) portfolio in Spain and Portugal. The team also provided legal advice on the group's corporate reorganization, thereby strengthening its structure and presence in the Iberian market.
Clifford Chance has also worked in coordination with the Portuguese law firm PLMJ Advogados, SP, RL in relation to assets located in Portugal.
Earlier this year, Nido announced an ambitious expansion plan that included a commitment to continue its expansion in the Iberian Peninsula, while also highlighting its objective of entering other key European markets for Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
Legal advice was provided by a multidisciplinary team from Clifford Chance, with participation from the Madrid, Luxembourg, and London offices.
