The tax area of the Chilean firm Carey was distinguished with two important recognitions in the latest edition of the ITR Americas Tax Awards 2025: Chile Tax Law Firm of the Year and Impact Deal of the Year, for the Codelco / Lithium Power'sshare capital transaction.
These awards, granted by International TaxReview (ITR), highlight the excellence of the firm's tax team, led by its partners Jaime Carey, Jessica Power, Manuel José Garces and Manuel Alcalde, both in technical strength, strategic vision and in their commitment to each project.

The awards were received in New York by Manuel José Garcés, partner, and Daniela Pfeffer, director, on behalf of Carey's tax team.
