The law firms Lopes Domingues Advogados and Braga & Garbelotti Consultores Jurídicos e Advogados announced the integration of their operations, creating BLDG. This merger brings the firm’s total number of professionals, including legal and administrative staff, to over 100, as each firm previously averaged 50 employees.
The new brand represents the convergence of two complementary trajectories: on the one hand, the innovative, close and strategic practice developed over the last decade by Lopes Domingues; on the other, the tradition and recognized technical excellence of Braga & Garbelotti, a national benchmark in tax consulting and business law since 1990.
The creation of BLDG consolidates an even broader and more integrated legal platform, prepared to advise medium-sized and large national and multinational clients with a multidisciplinary vision and a business-oriented approach. The integration of the teams expands the analytical and strategic capacity of the new firm, combining technical rigor, accumulated experience, and sensitivity to the transformations impacting the contemporary business environment.
This move also marks a natural leadership transition, preserving the history built over more than three decades. Waldir Luiz Braga, founding partner of Braga & Garbelotti, will become a strategic consultant for BLDG, contributing his experience and institutional vision. He stated, “The creation of BLDG represents the continuation of work guided by ethics and technical excellence, now strengthened by the integration of complementary skills and perspectives.”
For Raquel Mello Lopes and Mauricio Domingues, partners at Lopes Domingues Advogados, the consolidation of the new brand reinforces the shared vocation of both structures: “The integration of the teams expands our capacity to offer sophisticated solutions to clients without neglecting the closeness, efficiency and strategic vision, maintaining the commitment to technical quality that has always characterized both firms.”
Thiago Garbelotti emphasized that the union strengthens the competitive positioning in the legal market: “BLDG is born from the convergence between tradition and dynamism, creating an integrated structure prepared to face the complex challenges of our clients.”
The operational integration of the teams will conclude at the end of June 2026, although from the second half of May BLDG will begin to operate in a unified manner at its headquarters on Avenida Eusébio Matoso, 1.375, in São Paulo/SP.
