Auren has formalized the integration of Moore’s offices in Madrid and Barcelona, an operation that significantly strengthens its position in the Spanish professional services market and accelerates the execution of its strategic growth plan.
Mario Alonso, president of Auren, emphasized that “this integration represents a very important step in our growth strategy. We share the same understanding of the profession, based on close relationships, excellence, and commitment to our clients. This operation allows us to continue strengthening our project and expand our capabilities to respond to the new challenges of businesses.”
On behalf of Moore, Isabel Bermúdez, Audit Partner, noted that “Auren’s project and values are, in reality, our project, which has been in place for many years. In 2021, we merged the Moore Madrid office with Morison’s Audit and Legal departments, and in 2025, we also integrated the Moore Barcelona office. When we began discussing this integration with Auren, we knew we had to join forces with this project to continue improving service to our clients, retaining and attracting new talent, and providing better career opportunities for those professionals who share our values of hard work, quality, and teamwork.”
The new integration
The integration involves the addition to Auren of a team of 140 professionals and a business volume of 13 million euros, reinforcing its presence in Madrid and Barcelona, two strategic markets, and expanding its specialization to offer increasingly comprehensive and multidisciplinary advice.
With this acquisition, Auren will reach a combined turnover of nearly €150 million in Spain by the end of this fiscal year, with a team of over 1,550 professionals, and will consolidate its network of 15 offices in Spain, strengthening its position as one of the leading professional services firms in the market. Furthermore, it promotes a model capable of responding to any business need of its clients, combining specialization with a global and personalized approach.
As part of this operation, Auren is adding 10 new partners who will strengthen its main areas of activity. The Audit division will include Daniel González, Fernando Fernández, Francisco Martínez, Isabel Bermúdez, and Luis Manuel Rodríguez; the Legal division, Javier Fernández, Pablo Fernández, Mario Ovejero, and José María Nubiola; and the Consulting division, Juan Alvado.
This integration involves the incorporation of a very relevant part of Moore’s activity in Spain, a firm with a solid track record and recognized prestige in the professional services market, significantly reinforcing Auren’s positioning and accelerating the execution of its strategic growth plan.
Moore Spain has for years developed a distinguished track record in audit, legal advice, and consulting, consolidating a model based on specialization, close client relationships, and a strong international focus. The integration of its Madrid and Barcelona offices unites two organizations that share values, culture, and a common approach to professional advice. In 2027, Moore’s Madrid office will celebrate thirty years as part of the Moore network, a milestone that could not be marked by a better way than by joining the Auren project, which will allow it to strengthen its position and embark on an even more fruitful new chapter.
The acquisition also strengthens Auren’s international presence. Moore brings the experience and global reach of a firm integrated into Moore Global, recognized as the 12th largest professional services network worldwide, with $5.33 billion in revenue and a presence in 119 countries. This addition complements Auren’s already strong international presence, operating in more than 70 countries through ANTEA and boasting over 350 offices worldwide. The combination of these two international track records expands the firm’s ability to support globally active companies and respond to increasingly complex and cross-border projects.
With this integration, Auren takes a new step in the execution of its growth strategy and consolidates its position as one of the leading professional services firms in Spain, reinforcing its territorial presence, its technical capabilities and its international projection.
This operation adds to the additions made in recent months in offices such as Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia, among which the recent integration of the Valencian consulting firm Ifedes stands out, reflecting Auren’s firm commitment to sustained growth based on the incorporation of talent, specialization and complementary capabilities.
