Afianza, a Spanish firm providing comprehensive professional services to businesses, has completed the acquisition of Gestolasa, a law firm specializing in labor relations with over 35 years of experience in the sector. This transaction allows Afianza to expand and strengthen its service offering in the labor field.
Gestolasa recorded a turnover of €2.2 million in 2025 with a team of 26 professionals. With this acquisition, Afianza adds Gestolasa’s capabilities, which have worked with more than 600 companies and supported over one million people in early retirement and disability management processes.
Ignacio Sevilla, business director of Afianza, praised the acquisition, stating, “We have developed highly specific methodologies in permanent disability management and social security that are delivering real results for our clients. Joining Afianza opens up the possibility of transferring this expertise to more companies and combining it with the resources of a leading firm.”

Its model combines medical and legal advice with proprietary technology, something uncommon in the market. It is exactly the type of company we need to expand our range of professional services.”
Growth Strategy in 2026
The firm provides expertise in areas such as labor law advice, regulatory compliance, corporate social security, absenteeism analysis, and payroll Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). It excels in absenteeism analysis and its permanent disability management program, which achieves a 92% success rate in resolving cases and utilizes proprietary technological tools for case identification and prioritization. Its social security area is also noteworthy, where it has participated in the design and implementation of early retirement programs for large companies in Spain across the telecommunications, industrial, and pharmaceutical sectors.
This integration is part of Afianza’s growth and diversification strategy for 2026. The company reached a turnover of €83.2 million in 2025, compared to €54.3 million the previous year, representing a 53% increase. It currently has almost 1,200 professionals across Spain’s main economic zones.
