Ecija maintains its growth strategy and strengthens its Labor Law practice with the addition of Eduardo Gómez de Enterría as a new partner in the Madrid office. His arrival reinforces a strategic area for the firm, recognized by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 in Spain.
With over 25 years of professional experience, Gómez de Enterría is one of Spain’s leading labor lawyers. Throughout his career, he has advised major national and international companies on all types of labor matters, particularly excelling in collective bargaining and dispute resolution processes, corporate restructurings, workforce reorganizations, and highly complex labor situations.
His practice is characterized by a deep understanding of labor relations and a strategic approach focused on finding effective solutions in particularly complex scenarios, supporting companies in processes of transformation, negotiation and decision-making with a high organizational impact.
Before joining Ecija, Eduardo developed his career in firms such as Sagardoy, Herbert Smith Freehills or Dentons, where he held leadership positions within the labor practice and advised large organizations on national and international matters.
With his arrival, Ecija continues to strengthen a Laboral team that has more than 25 professionals in the Madrid office and partners with recognized experience such as Raúl Rojas, Fernando Vizcaíno, Carlos Martínez-Cebrián and Álvaro Rodríguez de la Calle, to whom Gómez de Enterría is now added.
Gómez de Enterría’s professional career is complemented by extensive academic activity. He is a professor at IE Business School specializing in collective bargaining and corporate restructuring, and an honorary professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid in the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice. He currently also teaches labor law practice in the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice at Villanueva University and regularly participates as a lecturer and speaker at institutions and organizations such as APD, IESE Business School, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Eduardo is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Labour Association (ILA), FORELAB, and ASNALA, a regular contributor to the American Bar Association, and a professional mediator accredited by the Ministry of Justice. His career has also been recognized by Chambers & Partners in the area of Employment.
