Lefosse announced the promotion of Isis Teixeira to partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, an area that has become increasingly important to the firm’s strategy. This decision reinforces the firm’s investment in consolidating its expertise in strategic litigation and follows the addition of Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy as partners in March, as well as the appointment of Ricardo Almeida as legal counsel.
With over ten years of experience, Isis specializes in complex litigation involving limited liability companies and corporations, contractual disputes, and public civil actions at the national level. It advises companies in various sectors, particularly energy, infrastructure, mining, and technology, at all stages of litigation, from prevention to post-litigation, representing clients in both arbitration and court proceedings.
“Isis’s career path at Lefosse perfectly reflects the type of work we aim to consolidate in our Dispute Resolution practice: solid technical expertise, strategic vision, and close client relationships in highly complex cases. Her promotion is a natural recognition of this work and reinforces our commitment to developing internal talent as we expand our presence in corporate litigation and arbitration,” said Rodrigo Junqueira , Managing Partner at Lefosse.
“Litigation management is fundamental for any company. The Lefosse team brings together the most outstanding professionals in the sector, whose complementary experience, when combined, reinforces excellence in client service. Being part of this team has always been very rewarding for me,” stated Isis Teixeira.
In Brazil, litigation practice tends to remain consistently active: the country has a strong litigation culture, and commercial disputes continue to arise throughout different economic cycles. Demand remains stable both during periods of growth, when transaction volume is higher, and during more challenging times; a scenario that reinforces the strategic importance of expanding leadership in this area.
