Deloitte strengthens its Tax and Legal Services practice in Colombia

Deloitte Spanish Latin America announced the addition of Manuel Fernando Benítez Tinoco as a Tax and Legal Services Partner for the Andean Region, based in Colombia, thus strengthening its tax capabilities and reaffirming its commitment to offering specialized solutions that respond to the challenges of an increasingly dynamic business environment.

“Organizations today face tax and regulatory challenges that require a comprehensive view of the business. Joining Deloitte represents an opportunity to put my experience at the service of clients and contribute to strengthening a practice that combines technical knowledge, close client relationships, and a deep understanding of the business environment,” said Manuel Fernando Benítez Tinoco.

A Certified Public Accountant from the National University of Colombia, with specializations in Tax Law and International Tax Law from the Externado University of Colombia, Manuel Fernando Benítez Tinoco has a professional career of more than 20 years in tax consulting, tax outsourcing, due diligence, regulatory compliance, transfer pricing and territorial taxes.

Prior to joining Deloitte, he served as a tax partner at a professional services firm, where he led multidisciplinary teams, managed strategic client relationships, and promoted new business opportunities, with a special focus on the Medellín market.

His arrival strengthens Deloitte’s capabilities in Business Tax services and helps consolidate a comprehensive value proposition for clients across various industries. Furthermore, it reinforces the firm’s local presence and expands its ability to support organizations in managing the tax and regulatory challenges of today’s business environment.

His addition is part of Deloitte’s growth and talent strengthening strategy in the Andean Region, consolidating a service offering that combines specialized experience, business vision and strategic support to help organizations face an increasingly complex and changing environment.
